Quick Tip #1 | Layer Selection

If you've ever had a photoshop file with a whole lot of different layers that haven't been named or grouped, it can be terribly hard to find the layer you want to select. However, there is a simple trick that can be used to select any layer in just two clicks.

To start off you need to have the Move Tool selected (shortcut: V), then you just right click over the layer you want to select and a list of possible layers will appear. If the layers are unnamed it can take a few guesses before you select the right one, but it narrows the number from 50+ to 7 in the example above.

This trick can save you so much time, I find it essential in all my projects even when all the layers are named and grouped.
